Safe Haven Community Center Adopt-A- Child- for Education. Reading & Dyslexia Tutorial Program is a extension programsupport very low- income children who struggle with reading, have a learning disability, dyslexia. We provide a systematic sequential explicit multisensory phonics teaching using visual, auditory, and kinesthetic -tactile teaching methods. Our programs consist of one on one and group tutoring, education games. We offer pre and post test benchmark testing, and assessment. Screening is made available through SHECPR.E.A.D.S. (SHCC Adopt-A-Child- for Education program is a sister program to SHECPEA KIDS CAN READ! Reading Tutorial Academy program. (Qualification apply: Income guidelines apply, Child cannot receive childcare benefits and must be enrolled in Title l school. Child cannot be enrolled in other tutoring programs.
